The winter Solstice of 2006

The winter Solstice Of 2006

Since ancient times the sun was seen a god that created and sustained life on Earth. The winter solstice, shortest day and longest night (northern hemisphere) was celebrated in pagan times as the birthday of the sun 21st - 22nd of December. As the Roman empire adopted Christianity in the forth Century, the date of the birth of the great Sun was postponed for 3 days for a double celebration. On the 25th of December Christianity Celebrates the birth of Jesus. Early Christianity which still practiced circumcision thus credited the first of January as the day Jesus was circumcised and given his name ישוע. Yet there are other reasons for this date to be commemorated. Jesus himself knew the projections the 25th day of the proceeding winter month, within Judaism (Jesus was born Jewish and died Jewish). According to John 10:22 Jesus was in Jerusalem on his birthday! "At that time they celebrated Hannukah in Jerusalem, it was winter." Hannukah = חנוכה is derived from two words:
Janu = חנו = Camped Kah = כה = 25.
The date is important for it comes to commemorate the reason for its being. The Greeks conquer Judea in 175BCE, Antiochus Epiphanes rules out Judaic practice, Shabbat, Circumcision etc. This act to annihilate the monotheistic practice is mentioned in Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High… and think to change times and laws…". One of these laws was to sacrifice of swine on his birthday ("And the swine, though he divide the hoof' and be cloven-footed, yet he chews not the cud ; he is unclean to you" Leviticus 11:7. "And the swine, because it divides the hoof, yet chews not the cud, is unclean to you: you shall not eat of their meat, nor touch their carcasses." Deuteronomy 14:8. "That sit on graves, and spend the night in vaults, that eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things in their vessels." Isaiah 65:4.)
This abominable sacrifice of swine was to be on the holy altar of the temple in Jerusalem, on the birthday, the 25th day of each lunar month (hence the term lunatic). At one point the Hasmonean family of priests took action and fought off the Greek decree. Their triumphant victory was achieved on the same 25th day of the lunar month, of Kislev (Maccabe's I 4:54), Thus comes the name "camped" on the "25th".
Even though the Greeks were out of the picture, the new priests were corrupt, capitalistic and cruel. Israel was in turmoil, shredded into sects, all hoping for better days even though the better days are still being awaited. Nevertheless Christianity translated the birth of Jesus as closing the circle of the Greek interference and thus claiming that Jesus was born on the 25th, the 25th day that the temple was defiled, the 25th day that the miracle occurred, defeating the Greeks, and purifying the temple.

The winter Solstice with all respect to history did not change its position in time and space, and still falls on the 22nd of December. What was fascinating this year is that this wonderful date coincided with the Jewish Calendar that commemorated the Solstice. The biblical calendar is very ambiguous, and thus had to be defined by Rabbi Akiva during the 2nd Century CE. He chose the lunar calendar, even though the priests used a Solar calendar (Yoma 6). There is one story in the bible that does define the year calendar. The biblical calendar is calculated in the year of the flood (Genesis 7:11 +8:14), mentioning dates for calculation (Genesis 7:11+7:24+8:3-4) and at the same time dates that commemorate the firs days of the seasons "In the tenth month, on the first day of the month"(Genesis 8:5) – 1st of Tevet is the 1st day of the winter season, the Winter solstice, during the festival of Hannuka. This year these dates and days that rotate around different cycles yet are there to define the cosmic moment in time, all coincided with each other on ONE day.
[Solstices = Genesis 8:5 + Equinox = 8:13].
In Jerusalem we prayed for rain on the day after Sukkot "שמיני עצרת" the next day it poured. The fall/autumn season was fairly dry, yet that night of the new month, the new season on the winter solstice… It started raining again. Not enough? the first days were perfect with rain at night and sunny days. "ברוך את ה' משיב הרוח ומוריד הגשם".
Never forget that God is full of miracles, never lose hope in the almighty creator. Even in the after math of the war, we had during summer, it's in these small rain drops that you know God is still standing by your side and guarding your paths.

ONE LOVE

"שמע ישראל יהוה אלהינו יהוה אחד" "
Listen Israel - God our god, God is ONE"

This holy Hebrew Mantra, represents the core of monotheism. רמב"ם = Mimonedies, uses it as the third verse to enforce monotheism. The first two verses are the first two commandments… "אנכי יהוה" = "I am YHVH" and "לא יהיה לך אלהים אחרים" = "You will not have another god", both from the Ten Commandments. The strict rule of having only ONE god is the essence of monotheism. Judaism historically, is the oldest monotheistic religion practiced today. Judaism split in the first two centuries CE. The younger sect, Christianity, typologically, searched for references of threes to justify its holy trilogy. Another example is "קדוש קדוש קדוש" = "Holy holy holy" (Isaiah 6). I will refrain from explaining the trilogy as I do not understand or follow in any way its logic. What I want to question in this entry, is the contradiction Islam has to this vital law. The law that unites God as ONE, whole, undivided, and all good.

Israel's situation at the moment is war, defending itself on two fronts. Both battles are in defense against the 'Holy Islamic Jihad'. In the south Sunni Hammas, in the north Shii Hezbollah.
Islam means peace. (Even sounds like the Hebrew word peace = שלום)
Islam's first vow: "There is no other god other then God."
The situation: The same ONE God is being called upon on both fronts of the war.

Islam, 600 years junior to Christianity, fought to correct the mistake Christianity made when breaking from Judaism, and unite God to be one unquestioned, undivided power. Such values were appreciated by Jews, and thus Islam and Judaism, interacted immensely in the past. Muslims and Jews were approved to pray together in the same houses of worship, both resenting pictorial icons of biblical figures and of course, any physical description of the metaphysical God, popular in Christian worship centers.
History has seen borders shift, yet one rule remained constant in both Semite, cousin, religions. There is one God, no other; any division, or plural gods, is blasphemy. The singularity of God is the highest principal. Whilst Judaism respects the younger 'monotheistic' religions, for being the pavers of the Masia = משיח, Islam has two options for someone who is not a Muslim. Its very simple, one has two options:
1. The way of the book = Believe in the one God
2. The way of the sword = Die For centuries Islam had a certain respect for the Jews as they believed in the 'same' ONE God.
This amicable relation ended with the sprouting of Zionism and the return of the Jews to Israel. This reuniting of the dispersed nation, to its native home land, was a slap in the face and in contradiction to Islamic prophecy. Instead of the 'Sultans pool', and 'Gey Ben Hinom' filling with Jewish blood, its banner, a cable holding a chest, was used when Jews in the walls, were under siege. It enabled transportation of food and medicine. In 1988 Fillipe Peti, demonstrated a walking balancing act, on the line as a sign of piece. Till today, in its basin art music and festivity flourish. Above it, space and stars are illuminated, cracking and explosions emphasize freedom and festivity.
Jewish Zionism became a threat to the justification of territorial Islam. It became the enemy. Masses were taught to hate, destroy, and kill. Fighting for a holy religious cause. Fighting a 'Holy Jihad' = 'War in the name of God'. This War in God's name is somewhat a contradiction. God being Love, makes this equation impossible, "War in the name of Love"? Hate becomes the reason for Love, destruction love's home, and murders its way to make love? Does this make sense to anyone? Ok, for argument sake, let us approve this scary irrational equation and try understanding it from another angle. Fighting Israel in the name of God? Fighting the Jews in the name of God? The Jews were the first to grasp the concept of a single, almighty, ruler of creation and sustainer of existence. This Israelite nation was chosen by the ONE God, to make his name known and exalted among all of Earths inhabitants. Christianity and Islam adopted its values, announcing Gods existence, and power. Islam enforced the Oneness and sole existence of the creator. With all these values worshipped, how can a religious Muslim claim a holy war against Israel? In the name of God how can one fight the nation who first realized Gods existence? (Remember God is not bound by time or space, thus for God time is not an issue, God's decisions are not bound to change in our perception of ticking time). On the one front, Islam calls on God as reason for their attack. On the other, Jews call on God to protect them from evil, defend them from their oppressors, praying and fighting back to defend the holiest gift of creation - life. Is it possible for the same entity of God to fight himself? Would that not be dividing God into two halves? Or is it the whole ONE God fighting the other whole ONE God? If so can there be two? 1+1=2? Or still does God remain ONE? Dividing him up, causing a contradiction within him, or even multiplying him is un accepted.
Basically my point is that opening a 'HOLY WAR in the name of God' against Zionism, is full of contradictions. Its downfall being the simple impossible mathematical calculation that divides, or multiplies God, and still believes with no doubt that the Oneness and Unity of the ONE are still intact, in order to declare a Holy Muslim religious war. How is it possible to justify how one believer in God, is legitimate of killing an older believer in the SAME God? If Islam calls to attack in Gods name and Israel call him in Defense, is it not the Attacker that initially inflicts God to separate into two? Is that not in contradiction to the fundamental Islamic law? War in the name of Love?

What goes arround comes arround

Evergy = Koaj = כח

Since the first brush stroke of creation, energy eminated from the mightiest force of all, and was sealed. Since then energy existed. It could change from one form to the next, yet it could be created nor destroyed. We are governed by those same rules of nature. Energy's destiny is motion. If it be electrons arround an atom, or galaxies of solar systems, energy is what puts it all together and drives it round and round. Feng Shui is an anchient philosopy, that is based on the Dao Philosophy. Its meaning: wind & water :
"ורוח אלהים מרחפת על פני המים" =
"and the sprit (wind) of God hoverred abouve the water" (Gen 1:3). Unlike subatomic and galactic movement, wind and water enable one to visualy notice natural energy, if it be wind moving leavs, dust, clouds, storms,waves, or rivers. What we nitice in such energy, is the curved shapes it molds, Science calles it the G force. G Force is that vector that curves the energy to form a spiral, oval and round shape we often perceive.

Another model of energy we experience on Earth, which is the basis of living energy, is that of the sun. If the world would just turn in orbit, and around its axix, there is no doubt that it would not sustain carbod burning living organisms. The Sun, worshipped by pagans as the highest power, is still the main sorce of physical energy on this planet. Its energy is transformed by photosynthesis into sugars, containing carbons, which living organisms consume, burn, and live upon.

Man is ruled by both the abouve models, one at its atomic level, and the other in his sustantial need to feed and absorb energy. Yet there is no doubt that man has a concious mind, as to how he behaves with the enegy he has. While he is similar to all organism in his need to grow, live, and reproduce, he has many more options as what to do with the energy he has. One may channel it to intelectual levels.
The most noticable action man can do, is physical creation. This can be noticed from the simple action of movement. Movement can be anything from a touch to dance, build, cook, weave, sow, plow, feed or even help someone. These types of transformed energies can then be appreciated by another living organism, in what ever way it be.
The second type of energy is that of speach. This transformed energy is vital in human life. Its the base of societies evolution. Its the core of communication, and holds the bility to teach and learn. Its not only the physical energy of sound waves ; but to an attentive ear, the world of poetry, prayer, and creation. God uses speach to create the universe (Gen 1).
Thought though, is the prime energy man transforms his energys cociously. It's the least visible, hiding deep in the imagination of man, out of others sight. Whilst visible or not, a person transforms his powers into thought. Those thoughts are on the move, having been set into motion by the person thinking them, and are from that instant out there, on a physical or metaphysical path on which they might collide or be transformed once more.

So there we have it, man consumes energy. Using the excess ones, of survival, he can do as he pleases. He can think what he likes, say what he chooses and do what he wants.
What I wish to share with you is a saying my Ouma (Grandmother) tought me. Every luggage has its tag along side it. Basically what this means is that everything we do has its price tag. Since the tree of good and evil, man has learnt the lesson of price & prize, the ability to transform his energies into good productive ones or bad destructive ones. One gets what one deservs. This is quite obvious, yet to what level do we understand it?
For instance: A person gives food to the poor. The action he performed will not end with the poor man eating the food. That drop of good will, will ripple reactions that will expand far beyond its origin. In this case, the power path, will flow through the actions which the poor man will choose do with the 'good' energys he recieved. Hopefully the decision will be of benefit to him and his fellow man. Another example would be a teacher or a doctor, using and sharing, their knowlage to benefit many people, for the better. If a man would possess one fact that someone taught him in his life, use that knowlage in his life, teach it to others, he will conduct the knowlage far beyond its limits, affecting others lives. A famous idea of this is that its better to teach a man how to catch fish once then feed him fish for a week, the extent of its benefits are timeless. A doctor saving one life, equal to saving a whole world, the future actions of the person saved, are all founded on that action the doctor did, out of his own free will. Thoughts are where this idea is not so visible. Here theory will hopefully brighten the picture. Masaru Emoto, in his book "Messages from water", proved beyond a doubt that thought has definite impact on the physical world. Water molecules reacted to the thoughts arround them and formed perfect geometrical structures when corressed with "good vibes", not to mention their estetic beauty. While in "bad vibes" the molecules collapsed and looked rotten. Even in the submerged level of thought, energies prject from us and are absorbed, remodeling the world arround us. Its immaculate how one is in control of ones life, and able to bring change upon it. What power one has to pray to the water he drinks before drinking, remodeling the molecular structure before intaking it.
Its all a matter of wanting saying and doing, for the better. Its a domino effect that extends beyond the capable comprehention of the human mind, evloving into countless paths of existence. Then, as it being a force of energy, its curved by some metaphysical G-Force, and finds its way down the meandering chain of life, on your back door. I dont see it as an avalaunch that hits a home run. It could be subtle, shy and modest, yet in other cases more severe. Hopefully it was a an energy man aquired and channeled wisely in the direction to do good, and all along its jurny it kept to that path till it came arround again. Once in existance, man could take it in, strengthen it, and set it out once more on its jurney to do goodness. Moreover, man has the abilty to take bad energy, capsize it, and set in onto a good path. This is true also in the opposite manner, yet as we are interested in changes for the better, I wish and hope that this information will be used only to benefit all man kind and not only selfish needs. These paths can be infinite, not only serving the person in power of its release, but rather involving many.
Teach share and have fun. Do good to your fellow man, and you will see that good will happen to you. Dreaming something you want? Don't know how to approach it? Walk the road of truth, goodness and rightuosness, shine with your productive intentions, and your path will be lit, the red carpet will be rolled out, doors will unlock and open, all you will need to do is just keep to your path. Then you will notice that what you asked for will be under you feet and up for the taken. Stick to your path and all ambiguity and shadow will shine clear.

As to those thoughts that are not percieved in actions, they are powerfull.
"בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ" = "In the beggining God created the heavens and the earth"
The metaphysical elements were created first and formed the stage for the physical ones. Maybe hidden from the naked eye, yet in godly terms, they are in full existance, even prior to the physical elements. To close this up I will reffer to the Daoist philosophy, which is mentioned to in creation, and is the father of the symbol at the top of this entry.
"והארץ היתה תוהו ובוהו" = "And the earth was chaos"
I translate 'תוהו' = 'Tohu' as either 'nothing', or as its phonetical sound 'Dao' (chinese D = D/T).
'בוהו' - as the two words its sounds like, 'Bo Hu' = "inside which, it is". In short, the nothing in which everything exists.

The 21st Centuary. My moment in time

Diaspora was given to discover = Galut Nitna Legalot = גלות נתנה לגלות

It is quite clear that we are living in one of the most interesting ages of the human race. It is obvious, as we have in no time prior to this modern age, progressed with such a force of development. The inventions we have stumbled across in the last centuary, can be measured between sky rocket hights, and DNA codings. Where is all this going?
History keeps on repeating itself!
What shaped the modern western society was brought by the French revolution. With this in mind, I find that what brought the human race to reach that indipendance, today can be experienced LIVE, and in many cases first hand.
Galileo Galilei Discovered that the earth was round and upgraded telescopes to see neighbouring planets; Today we see neighbouring galaxies, and travel in space.
Press was invented, publishing and information became more accessible then before; Today we have the internet, even I can publish my ideas, and you can read it, with even easier means.
While shakespear performed his global philosophical plays in his theatre in the round; Today we can rent the DVD and watch it in our private surround sound state of the art system.
Reformation of the church, opened the eyes of the masses hooked on opium; Today, do as you please (not in Islamic world). If Krishna, Buddah, Jesus or any one else, enable you to see the light, take the lit path. I stick to the path of God, the High way, overtakes all the others, with a known destination.
Christopher Columbus 'discovers' new land, and culture, China is 'back' in trade; Today we have speedy air travel to these 'new' lands and cultures. We can study the new languages, and traditions - for a certain fee - on a silver platter. If you have a craving for Japanese food, 'discovered' in the age of the missionaries, you can order sushi for dinner.
With the fuedal system down and capitalism, shining in the corner of societies eyes and coins, the human race is once again in a boiling pot, on its way to become another united dish. With all the knowlage and information abouve, closer then ever, and up for the taking - for a small fee - one wonders where is it all taking us?
Globalization, the human race standing as one, if it is in the UK, USA, EU or UN. We are one race, on one mission - To Live! Life is the reason of creation, man at the peak of it. With a game of reversing the letters of the words man and woman in Hebrew this becomes very clear.
Man = Ish = איש Woman = Isha = אישה
Peak = Si = שיא The Peak = Hasi = השיא
We are one nation, killing weakens us, war starves us. We might think we have the right to turn our back on our brothers who are victims of wars, drought, and epidemics that plague a continent called Africa. If we would channel all the funds of wars into food, health, education and farming, there is no doubt we would be channeling our energies on a worth while mission.
What pleases the eye more, demolision rubble and smoke, or a green pasture in the desert?
Seem far fetched? Not at all! Magic? well in a way... Lets call it Energy...

For me as a Jew there is one more parallel in our history that has quite an effect on my life as a Jew today, in Israel. In 1942, the Spanish inquisition, was the hardest blow Jews living in the diaspora knew, the only one that topped it off was when their own home in Israel was destroyed, 2000 years ago by the Romans; Today we are recovering from our latest torment, where SIX MILLION of our brothers were extinguished in gas chanbers, bullets, and death camps. The Prayers, Hopes and Dreams (PhD) craeted, by those pure sould, whose memory is blessed, was answered. Out of the dark and dust, Jews returned to Israel, the impossible became real, the depressed nation with no home, wondering from exile to exile, stood up proud and united. It was an act of survival. Sown into barren, swampy , and infested land... Grew a fruitful InDeep'nDance, Called the state of Israel.

Hebrew עברית

Hebrew = Ivrit = עברית
Cloud = Av = עב = 72
Trans = Ever = עבר
Pass\Passed = Avar = עבר *
Israelite = Ivri = עברי
Wild = Bar = בר
Many = Rav = רב
Covenant = Brit = ברית
Evening = Erev = ערב
Awake = Er = ער
In me = Bi = בי
Daughter = Bat = בת

Hebrew is believed to be the language God used to create - Everything. The Language used by Abraham, a pionering wondering Jew, whose origins were Aramaic. Its letters were used in the infamous "Five books of Moses" brought down from the mountain in the desert of the Sinai peninsula. When the Old Testement was sealed in the last centuries before the count of Christianity, it was done in Hebrew. Hebrew has evolved since, yet even in the texts of certain biblical books modern words are seen to have been addopted into hebrew. In the book of Ester, months were given names adjacent to their original ordered numbers. Aquiring new words from cultures it lived under was common too. After Alexander the great conquered Judea, showing interest in the culture and respect to its religion, Alexander the name became accepted into the Hebrew culture, to the extent that one could call his son by it. During the second diaspora of the Jewish people, beggining with the Roman destruction of the Israel temple, hebrew beaceme a language of prayer, study and litterature. On the doorpost of Diaspora, on the way out, Hebrew was used once again. Without an international center of worship, the Oral Law was written down, this is Hebrew's second and third seald collection of books. Once Islam rises and conquers land on which Jews lived, the Jewish venacular became Arabic, while the official traditional language remaining Hebrew. Arabic, a sister Semite language, ruled by a great force was fundamental, to the evolution, understanding and depth of Hebrew, as it usherred one to find hidden information in the Hebrew texts. The Greek, and Latin classic philosophical texts were translated at first by the Jews, into arabic (Jews using all the abouve as venacular languages). The Crusaders marched to Jerusalem, in the Christian world, a blow to Jews in Europe. Once again Hebrew literature became an escape from oppression. While in hiding from death, Interpretation of the ancient texts took off, and new books were written down. Christian Inquisitions drove Jews out of their homes and borders, England was first folowed by France. In Spain the Jewish refugees and natives, had many questions concerning their identity and reason. This is when, and where, Kabbala philosophy took interpretation, and understanding to a new level. Finding reason for action, taking control over ones life, and ofcourse trying to understand god, with using none the less but his own texts. When I said books were seald I mean that those were the final editions, there was nothing added on or taken off, today each text is identical thanks to this act, word for word, letter for letter. Hebrew became the biggest focal point, each letter acting as an opening to a whole new world of possibilty, turning texts into infinite ideas and knowlage. The transendant infinite god could be reached intelectually,by learning and understanding the infinite information stored in his words and letters found in his books. Hebrew was finally brought back to its home land Israel, in 1909. Words took flight out of the ancient books and became spoken in the streets and markets of Israel.
Children played with it and kids read it off the blackboard. Poets and writers excavated millenia old words, dressed them up with modern ones, emphasising the history of the nation, and hoping to see the return of the Jews to Zion (Zionism), is infact the anchient prophecies of the old testement taking form and becoming reality. After the second world war, the inter - European massacre of Jews known as the Holocaust, Israel was voted democraticaly, by the United Nations, a right to be Independant. Since then Hebrew is the Prime official language of the state of Israel.
What fascinates me is that with its few Jews who used it, dispersed all over the globe, it made it to the 21st century. Chinese is a language similar in age, held up though, by millions of more people using it, and under its own empire.

Hebrew
Hebrew has 22 letters.
אבגדהוזחטיכלמנסעפצקרשת
כמנפצ Look different when they are the last letters of the word
כ=ך, מ=ם, נ=ן, פ=ף, צ=ץ.
Letters act as numbers, words as sums:
1-9 = אבגדהוזחט
10-20 = יכלמנסעפצ
100-400 = קרשת
Its written from right to left. In texts one does not see vowels. Most words are composed of a three letter root, some of two letter roots (I will show them with an *). To the root one can add certain letters to conjugate ther verb and play with it to form a noun or an adjective, or even an adverb. These letters are known as YEHEVI = יהוי.
God has many names, yet he has one that stands abouve all. People refer to god in Hebrew as "The Name" = Hashem = השם (Ha = the =ה ; Shem = name = שם). Jehova = YHVH = יהוה.
This is vital as it is these letters that enables one to poject it from the past to the pressence, and into the future. Its core is in the text of creation:
"Let there be light, and there was light" = Yehi Or Vayehi Or = "יהי אור ויהי אור"; Light = Or = אור.
The letters of the holy name used in a word decree its tense:
To write = Lijtov = לכתוב (j-as pronouced in spanish CH or H)
He wrote = Katav = כתב * (being the three letter root)
He is writing = Kotev = כותב
He will Write = Yijtov = יכתוב
To dictate = Lehajtiv = להכתיב
It is written = Katuv = כתוב
Letter (n) = Mijtav = מכתב
Writing table = Mijtavia = מכתביה
Stationary = Mijtaviyot = מכתביות
Marrage Certificate = Ktuba = כתובה
Article = Katava = כתבה
Writing (n) = Ktiva = כתיבה
Conjugating the verbs in each tense works in specific order, with possibility of using it as an active verb or a passive verb. Opening and closing letters of a verb reffer it to male or female, first, second, third body, singular or plural.
Words can hide in words. In earth hide word such as man and vapur. Why? Because the earth is what God took the vapour from and what he used to make man
Earth = Adama = אדמה
Man = Adam = אדם
Vapour = Ed = אד
The Word that opens the Bible is: "In the begining" = Bereshit = בראשית
A Kabalist Rabbi wrote a book just on that word depicting the beggining if time. Once again I remind you that God used language to create. Yet just in one word how many words can you create? Well after the book of creation was discoverd in the 10th Centuary or so, and marked the spring board to Kabbala, it hinted to the reader the idea of a matrix. This was addopted to form 600 words from just that one, that pin points the origin of time. It works as follows, the word has 6 letters, and thus can have 6! options. (6! = 1x2x3x4x5x6) these are some words I like: "In the Begining" = Bereshit = בראשית
Head = Rosh = ראש
Wild = Bar = בר
Healthy = Bari = בריא
Created = Bara = ברא
Mirror = Rei = ראי
2 = Bet = ב
Fire = Esh = אש
There is = Yesh = יש
The = Et = את
Come = Ba = בא
Saturday = Shabbat = שבת
Return = Shav = שב *
Sat = Yashav = ישב *
Man = Ish = איש
Father = Av = אב
My father = Avi = אבי
Pinnicle = Si = שיא
Sang = Shar = שר *
Song = Shir = שיר
Minister = Sar = שר
Streight = Yashar = ישר
Daughter = Bat = בת
Hope that was fun... Before I close, one more word:
Jerusalem = Yerushalayim = ירושלים
Jerusalem physically possesses probably the greatest secrets, in its 3000 year old foundations, that have over and over been destroyed, coverd up, built on and demolished again. Its tradition sends it back to year zero, 5766 years ago, better known as the garden of eden, birthplace of life, residence of the lord. 3000 years ago King david conquers it and his son Solomon, builds on its mountain the first Temple of God (housing in Jerusalem - ירושלים ,the seven letter word, the seven branched Menora, the greatest symbol of Judaism, also seen on Israel's coat of arms, between the olive branches of peace). Here are some words that one may derive from it:
Name = Shem = שם
My name = Shmi = שמי
His name = Shmo = שמו
Of = Shel = של
Who? = Mi = מי
To me = Li = לי
To him = Lo = לו
My = Sheli = שלי
His = Shelo = שלו
Of my own = Misheli = משלי
Of his own = Mishelo = משלו
Heir = Yoresh = יורש
Inheritted = Yarash = ירש *
Noted = Rasham = רשם
Formal = Rishmi = רשמי
Margins = Shulayim = שוליים
Bitter = Mar = מר
Bull = Shor = שור
Song = Shir = שיר
Sang = Shar = שר *
My song = Shiri = שירי
His song = Shiro = שירו
Ruler = Moshel = מושל
Governed = Mashal = משל *
Is (exist) = Yesh = יש
Sea = Yam = ים
High = Ram = רם
Proverb = Mashal = משל
Silk = Meshi = משי
Whole = Shalem = שלם
My well being = Shlomi = שלומי
Peace = Shalom = שלום (Also greeting Hello and Good bye)
On that note I will bless us all with Peace and say Good bye
Shalom
שלום

Nadav Kersh

On a friday evening, in the midst of fall, sheltered in the JNF forrests of Jerusalem's western slopes, I beacme physically indipendant. Judaism was practiced at home; home including seven years living in South Africa, and returning at the end of School. Education, learning and understanding, became my tool to play with the colourful threads that are woven in the rug of existence, the puzzle that is my fun. As science expands through the dimentions of the universe, streatching beyond unknown boundries, in and out of existence, one idea remains stagnant. Evolving in perception, bold and noble stands, the creater of the magic we call Nature.
Hebrew, the language spoken during creation by the creator, has become my hobby. Traveling became my job for five years. Meeting new cultures and Learning new languages.
